assisted reset trigger

Assisted Reset Trigger - There seem to be 2 new and different types of FRT Rarebreed. One by BDU called BDU WOT and the other by the original patent holder, Graves. Both are different from Rarebreed FRT.

The WOT features a patent pending spring loaded locking bar that makes the trigger unique. The trigger hammer is reinforced with Hardox steel which, due to its toughness, resists shocks, shocks, shocks, shocks and impacts day after day. This allows the WOT to consistently fire the bolt carrier group (BCG) while rotating back and forth in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.

The WOT cannot be a fully automatic trigger because the hammer is released by the locking rod and triggers the pin. The firing pin then activates the primer on the brass body, allowing a single bullet to exit the rifle. With every pull of the trigger

The Wide Open Trigger (WOT) is a two stage hard opening trigger that allows the user to fire faster, while allowing only one shot per trigger pull. This trigger is designed to shorten the length and time required for a trigger to reset by using the elastic energy of a patent pending spring carrier. When pressed, the spring holder forces the trigger to the neutral or reset position.

The roller type trigger lock activator/deactivator is rugged, accurate and allows for slower rates of fire with more accurate shot separation.

It features an optimized geometry configuration of a hammer and trigger, without the hammer pull issues in BCG.

In the AFT thread on the rare breed, it was noted that the trigger is not their original design. They are fired.

Why has AFT never looked into his problem? The only reason they don't like it is because it sold so many?

The trigger is made using a metal alloy made by Diecast. Each part of the trigger is then machined and hardened. The trigger is not made by metal injection molding. The process used to make the sear is the same as that used to make car engine parts, as it is resistant to high temperatures, friction and does not rust. It really is a higher quality process than almost any other stimulant produced.

There's a reason other discs like this fail, when a corner is cut it causes problems later. The engineer took all the failures of other companies and in his design he corrected the design flaws of other companies and was able to obtain a patent pending.

Also, manufacturers like RBT never say anything about the warranty, but WOT has a warranty that lasts as long as your gun (lifetime). They stand behind the product like a company should.

Reset Trigger Kit For Glock

New member, two posts, both in the same thread for a new product, one claiming to know.

Hi, if it helps, I run Lead & Steel, and we just got a boatload of this stuff. I just wish it wasn't stainless. I don't want to link my site and derail the thread, but at $300 it's a bit cheaper than Rare Breed (and a notch more separation than FRT BS).

We're low on ammo though, so it's not like the $100 difference is going to make up for the increased cost these days.

Here is another. I don't know anything about it other than what is said in the movies.

Supposedly the newest (Alamo) will cost close to $1000? Apparently it costs more to make than the rare breed sells for? This is what I understand from YouTube comments

It's almost like a race to sell as much contraband as possible. George Dodson would be proud.

You're missing the point......have you ever wondered why the 2 new FRT trigger "clones" that just hit the market aren't awaiting the outcome of the ATF/Rare case Breed before you start pulling $$ from people. no comeback?.....

Thanks that's crazy also it's weird that the guy who made this video says in the comments that you don't have to change anything to justify the price but in the video he recommends turning an edge on the screw holder. The pivoting part of the trigger makes a lot of sense, as does my roller cam pin, but I can't see myself paying more than $300-$350 for one, especially with the small odds/ATF rules against the rare breeds. That would be a waste of $1000.

So, were they thoroughly researched and waiting to come out after the letter? Have these companies seen $400 sales like hotcakes and knockoffs with little tricks?

Assisted Reset Trigger

I guess the three different designs would help the AFT fight, unless it gave them more heat. I am interested in watching the show. Are the companies selling these two new stimulants doing their part to defend themselves? Does a trigger purchased from a company other than Rare Breed potentially take battle money to keep your $400 trigger? I sold mine at a gun show to a random guy whose name or number I forgot to mention but liked the design and the legal battle was in our favor.

Atf Declares Some Forced Reset Triggers To Be Machine Guns

If there was a forced reset with a third pick notch and 3 1/2 pound single fire option, I'd be all over the place. The current options, with only a forced reset, don't interest me much. They are interested in me, but not enough. The only way I see what's available is useful to me is to make a cheap PSA and throw it in there to waste ammo. I'm sure it would be a lot of fun, but for ammo cost, I'd rather get one that fits the description above and put it in an existing gun. I still have the daily functionality with the option to blunder once in a while.

I couldn't agree with you more. I fell in love with the FRT-15 but waited because I thought a competitor would soon release a trigger with a 3 position selector and take over the market. So I'm a bit disappointed to see two new triggers released, neither of which has the ability to run without resetting.

I'd pay more than the relatively high price for a third position in a pinch, but I can't justify buying the current offering. I'm sure if things go well in court and it becomes mainstream it won't be far off, but until then I can't see myself buying one. I came close, but it still ain't come

Best Dry Fire Training Systems (review & Buying Guide) In 2023

In a world of hammer and die casting and MIM, the LaRue MBT is a hardened S7 tool steel plate that is cut by EDM...does it get any harder than that?

That would be great, but given that this is largely new, I think having a dedicated bottom with this trigger is the way to go. I would never put something like this in a serious firearm. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy these guys, they are awesome.

This trigger has performed a forced reset. But, you still have to go through the circuit breaker. FRT instead uses a "lock bar" to manage the timing.
